Tri-view camera / mirror + Aux Switches?

Greetings all. Planning on stepping up to a 2500 in the Spring when the lease on my Grand Cherokee is up, and trying to figure out the least painful way to end up with both the aux switches and the tri-view (side mirrors + trailer camera) rearview mirror display. I'm aware you can't order both, because the tri-view camera also includes trailer steer which occupies the same space the aux switches would (right??). So the question is, which is easier to add after the fact? Can the trailer cam wiring be added after the fact? Does it require a mirror swap or dealer config? I've seen that the aux switches can be added later but it's not a true OEM install, so that makes it not a slam dunk for me. Anybody running both? Am I overcomplicating this? TIA.

Maybe trying to do something that isn’t readily available yet. I was looking at the same thing, tri-view mirror with AUX switches.
I settled for Aux Switches with trailer prep 1 and off-road package.
The tri-view mirror is a special item that takes video feeds from several cameras but it’s not clear yet if they ran all the cabling to allow for it to be added as a separate option later up in the mirror overhead mounting panel. If I recall from my research, getting the video output from the computers requires the “option code” to activate the output. It also requires different cameras on the side mirrors than the surround view uses. They go into a spot by the curtesy lights at the lower outside portion of the mirrors. Then when you plug in the trailer camera it would switch to that in the rear view. And back to bumper cam or cargo cam when not connected. The integration piece is were it gets bunged up.

Nobody had come up with a solution by the time I bought my truck so I just stuck with my wireless trailer camera and separate display when I tow my travel trailer. It works. IIRC the cameras are about $600 ea from RAM and then the cost of the triview mirror if you can even order it.
Maybe in a few years they’ll figure out the 2025 system programming and someone will design a good solution. My current config with a separate camera and display saved marriage (research backing trailer with spouse help, lol) and just works.

Thanks for the input. I've seen a few other threads with some pretty involved info regarding programming in options, so maybe in the next few months somethings gets figured out, fingers crossed. I currently have the 5" Furrion wireless monitor and it's fine, but it takes up a lot of windshield space. I don't remove it when not towing our travel trailer just because I feel like the dangling power connection will be more annoying than the blank monitor.
