Transmission Fluid

Anybody using amsoil transmission fluid in the aisin transmission. 2020 ram 3500.and if you are which one are you using.

I did in my ‘18 and will in my ‘22.

Their signature series ATF has ASRC printed on the bottle. It’s what I use.

I was going to as well, but the price difference between the aisin fluid and the Amsoil was soooo salty. Especially with the change frequency. Everything else is amsoil in the truck though.

Amsoil is cheaper than the Mopar ASRC, but you can find the Aisin ATF-04 a little cheaper. Mobil 3309 can be found cheaper too.

Of those fluids the only synthetic is the Amsoil, so a few extra bucks isn’t a big deal. It certainly doesn’t need to be changed every 30K, but maintaining a warranty can be a little more costly than needed.
