This was a nice surprise when picking up my 2025 Limited. Not only does it include all the truck hardware/configuration for Trailer TPMS, but it also comes with the 4 valve stem / sensors.

I already have a wireless TPMS system that came with my trailer but this would be more convenient.

Is the general consensus that the Ram TPMS sensors work well? I'm thinking of having my local tire shop install those sensors!

Trailer TPMS has worked great for me and my 5th wheel. The sensors aren’t quite as accurate as the main sensors, but are within a few psi.

Depends how far back the trailer axles are from the rear of the truck, the system is very intermittent on my 44' triple axle 5th wheel, the front axle normally reports pressures consistently, but the two rear axles will drop out and most of the time stop reporting soon after the start of the trip. I ended up putting my tireminder system back on so I can see reliable data.

I installed my sensors and they work as they should. Following the setup process I had no issues. Not a long trailer, only 20' goose. But on occasion the truck won't pick up the sensors so I have to switch trailers on the settings and it comes back. Like change from trailer 1 to trailer 2 and back to trailer 1.

I installed them on my 2024. The sensors have no issues with my 40FT 5ver. Thew only issue is it never remembers my target pressure and sometimes I have do the switch to trailer 2 back to trailer 1 trick when it says " TPMS not configured".

I have a 35-foot travel trailer so the axels are actually going to be pretty far away.

I just found this on a mopar website...

System Limitations
The TTPMS may have difficulty transmitting through steel-walled tires or on trailers longer than 30 ft. It is recommended to use standard tires and trailers less than 30 ft long to avoid dropouts or difficulty when pairing.

Where did you find the set up process? Was the dealer involved or was it just a matter of installing them in the trailer tires?

Thought I'd report back on my experience. I had the sensors installed at Discount Tire for a bargain price of $40 total (feel they under charged). I did the configuration myself via the trailer/towing pages in UConnect.

With my 35-foot travel trailer, it is appearing to work perfect!

Glad they worked for you.

I use them on my 36ft enclosed trailer and they're great.

Discont installed mine for $60 and I had a total of 6 sensors so seems about right for them.

I had discount tires install mine today and completed the pairing routine with no problems but can’t get a reading in the connect screen and cannot find a tire pressure page in the cluster display.
