Trailer tow camera settings to stop it from shifting down in reverse?

I have a 2022 ram 3500 with the trailer tow camera in the rear view mirror. When I put it in reverse the camera automatically shifts all the way down.

Is there a way to force it to hold the position it's in as opposed to always going down?

I have it mounted low so when it shifts down it renders it nearly useless while trying to back up. Tried everything in the unconnect and mirror and don't see an option. I assumed there'd be an off option similar to the Sideview mirrors.

Maybe there's a way with alphaOBD?

This might not be the most elegant technique... but one way of doing this is to adjust your mirror image all the way down, and then physically tilt your camera up to get the view you want. This way when the truck is put into reverse, the image won't tilt down any further (since it's already tilted fully down).

Can you just raise it back up with the buttons on the mirror? I've never tried in reverse, but you can adjust the angle with those.
