I have a 2020 Ram 2500 6.7 and my two 7 pin plugs (one in the bed and one on the bumper) and 4 pin are not getting power for the trailer running lights. I have trailer blinker and brake lights but no running lights. I checked all fuses (f29, f28, f81, f53) including the ohms and there all good. all I can think of is the TIPM fuse box its self. any ideas?

Is there power to the fuse?

The blinker and brake lights on the trailer are working? Are you running your lights on “auto”? If so, turn the lights to on and see if that works

Also, use the trailer light check feature. Easy to activate and very helpful in checking your trailer lights. I use it every time I hook up the 5er.

Not sure what trim level you have but with my tradesman it’s in the EVIC. Use the arrows on the left side of the steering wheel and scroll down until you find it. Has a few parameters you have to meet to enable but mostly just hooked up to your trailer and ready to go. Activate it then walk around and check your lights. When done hit the brake or one of the arrows and it cancels.

That started in 2021 he has a 20….

Might want to check that the harness is plugged into the back side of the 7 pin properly. There's only one harness that has to be moved between the 7 pin in the bed or the 7 pin on the bumper. It's possible someone moved it from one to the other and didn't get it clicked in all the way, so you might have some pins not making contact.

Dallascowboy85 - How did you fix this issue? I am having the same problem. I think it is a relay, but I am not sure. I would love to know how you fixed the problem.

I just went through this same problem with my 2021.
It turned out to be the truck side connector in the box. I was able to prove by moving the problem to the bumper plug.
Replaced the truck side connector and is all good now.
