I have a 2024 3500. Amazing truck for towing. For some reason the tow camera has started glitching or even quitting over bumps and some hills. All the usual user connections are tight. I think it’s behind the bumper or the bumper connecter. It was either here or on Facebook that someone had a fix for this with something to do with the bumper connector but I’ve been unable to find it. Does anyone have a fix for this?

Thank you in advance.

I have a 2022 3500. Had issues with trailer camera on fist tow. Started glitching. And the wife fix was pushing on mirror switch to standard mirror, pause then pull forward for digital. Worked but temporary. Note I moved the bumper connection to the bed. I could hookup and jiggle the connection while looking through rear window at rear view mirror and see that it would connect and then disconnect. F'd with connector center pin by widening the split in the centerpin. No help. Eventually I broke half of split pin off. Ordered new connector and all good for next 1K miles of trip. Then started glitching again. Did some T/S and being a retired ET, I researched options. I changed out the connector on cable from camera to a male BNC connector then changed the connector on truck, to a female BNC connector. It has been working without issue now for two trips, about 1.5K miles.
I would try to see if you can make connection fail by wiggling bumper connection while connected and viewing rear view mirror/camera. If it flickers and interested I can send you part numbers I used to fix mine. If it doesn't flicker you will have to T/S where the connection is breaking down.
Good luck

My 22 2500 was doing the same thing. I could grab the cable at the bumper ,wiggle it , and the camera would go on and off. It seemed like the connector was bad and the dealer replaced the connector in the bumper . That didn't fix it, but it seemed to make it a bit different. They then replaced the cable from the bumper to the camera and it fixed the problem.

I have a 2022 2500. Having the same issues. If I understand you moved the connection to inside the box. I am interested in a parts list you used. I think the bumper mounted connection is faulty.
Thanks,
JR
