I just traded my trusty and slightly rusty 2004 Z71 (loved that truck) for a 2019 Ram Bighorn 2500 6.4l HEMI. My buddies said I should have gotten the diesel but I don't need it nor can I afford it. I am very pleased with my decision, this is an awesome HD truck that is great for what I use it for. I really like the color, I wish I could afford a better trim but I love it over all. I would like to get some advice on some minor upgrades from you guys. I'd like to upgrade the stock wheels and tires to something a little more aggressive. I am actually fine with the wheels, but want to get a tougher A/T tire. Any suggestions is greatly appreciated. It is still under warranty (32k mi) would a slight lift void it? I am 3 inch lift with 37s. or is that silly not being on a diesel?

Any mod has the potential to void the warranty. Lift and tires don't seem to be high on that list but if your transmission goes out you can be assured they might consider it.

37's on a gas truck you are probably going to want to re-gear for sure and I think it goes without saying that the mpg will go from bad to worse.

Money seems to be a concern (as it should be) so it may be best to leave it alone, you are headed down a path of spending $$$

I suggest up grade to 35in. tires.
Any size larger tires could cause rubbing issue on the fender, also will cost you $$ to remedy the issue & could cause stability issues with even higher ground clearance.
Regarding tire brands both BFG, & GOODYEAR my choice. Have never had issues with both over the years.
