After 30 years of driving a big rig I have decided to get into hot shot auto hauling. I just grabbed a 2024 4500 Crew cab 4x6 cab and chassis with the 84"CA. Its my 3rd Ram but my 1st truck that wasn't a Kenworth or a 1500. I bought a Tradesman with because I tend to customize my trucks anyway. Here are a few I would like to make happen soon and am looking for any leads or heads up I might need to be aware of.
Delete Drivers seat and center console and replace with a captains chair, preferable one that will swivel. Need cup holder options if I do this.
Woodhouse Sleeper conversion, eventually I want to add a real sleeper which is why I went for the 84" CA. If I can find the swivel seat this will be a nice "living room" area once I add the additional sleeper.
Radio upgrade. Have Uconnect 3 with 5" display. Would like something better than the Infotainment upgrade or to at least know if they ever worked out the bugs I have read about.
I would also like to know what you guys might say are some needed upgrades I might not be aware of yet.
