Anyone in the Wisconsin area have any idea on how to the lower the factory 75psi front/80psi rear tpms thresholds? I have heard that AEV module can take care of this. What’s the pros and cons of the AEV vs alpha obd?

To my knowledge the 2500s are all set at 48ish psi threshold before the light goes on even your door sticker should say around 60psi

New rim and tire setup are at 60/65psi all around.

Mine are 60psi all around. Came from the factory with 80 in them.

Light comes on right around 50 PSI.
I run 45/37 unloaded in my truck.
Used AlfaOBD to change my settings. Dropped TPMS threshold down to 25.

I bought my ‘22 2500 December 26th with 7 miles on the odometer, and I remember the drive home thinking, ”Gosh, this is a harsh ride!” I really was second guessing my decision to move up from my prior ‘19 1500. Hell, even my ‘95 2500 was a smoother ride! Turns out the tires were inflated to 80psi, I assume by the factory. I dropped them down to 60/65 per the door label and it’s a lot smoother. I really don’t have any idea why they’d run them up that high.

Take a look in the AlfaOBD thread. All the info you want and more in there.
