Hi everyone!
I bought this truck about 6 months ago, with these tires and wheels installed by the dealer.
20in Fuel Wheel with a set of Nitto Terra Grappler G2's
First few weeks I owned the truck, no problems, then the tire light came on and it had an error TPMS sensors unavailable.
Took truck into dealership and they recalibrated, worked fine for about 4 days, then failed again.
Took it into discount tire, they said it was due to the style of the wheel and the valve stem sitting flat (see picture) instead of at an angle and said I should replace all the wheels.

Was hoping someone here has dealt with this and can explain what I can do to get my TMPS reading to monitor my pressures (yes I still use a tire gauge but I like having both)
Thanks in advance everyone!

Tires / Wheels were installed by the dealer prior to purchase, but I would likely assume Factory. And yes they are just not transmitting to the truck but they can be read.

It seems like there have been a lot of people who have had tpms issues. I doubt it is the wheels if they were working when you first got them. If you have seen how the sensor attaches to the stem you would see that it really does not matter as they just emit a signal that gets picked up by a receiver.

Yea it does seem common and not the end of the world to me, I am just wondering what the best fix might be, aftermarket sensors or having the dealer replace the receiver?

Its not the stem placement as i have never had any cause that from my shop, im thinking faulty receiver on the truck

There is a TPMS Service Bulletin....
