TPMS issue

First off I will say this is happening on my sons 1500, but I was wondering if anyone has had this type of issue on the 2500’s. Here’s what’s happening, my son has a 2020 1500 and he put tires and wheels on it from a 2022 TRX and had to ad 1.25” wheel spacers to make them fit… now occasionally he will only get 1 front sensor to register, usually none of them work and the dealer can’t figure it out. I’m wondering if the wheel width plus the spacers is putting the sensors out of reading range and if anyone who has put wide wheels or spacers on their 2500 is having any issues with the TPMS.
