TPMS failures

6 months into ownership (late last summer), I experienced failure of one of the TPM's on a rear inside dual wheel. Dealer replaced it, seemed fine. 4 months later, the SAME TPM failed in the same wheel, of course.
Bring it back to dealer. Instead of replacing it again, he tells me theres a campaign to replace all 6. Need truck all day-long process, understandable.
Anyone else having issues with TPMS?
I have a '08 Chevy Tahoe that had nightmarish issues with them.

I was warned that Chrysler, FCA, RAM, Stellantis, whatever the name of the month it is that it would have "nickle & dime you to death".
Is this a foretaste of the feast to come?

My front driver side just went out a week ago after driving it away from the ceramic coater. I thought maybe they removed the wheels and it disconnected, but it hasn't reconnected on it's own while driving it for the week.

I bought the truck used in December and have Max Care, but it just seems easier to buy the $20 sensor and have it replaced when my lift, wheels and tires are installed next month.

I lost one 3 miles down the highway from the dealer. 2nd one went out the next morning. 6 months later I have one working sensor. If I went to the tire shop and paid it would be done an hour after I showed up. My dealer would be a day at least which is why I put it off. Hassle hassle hassle. At some point my time is worth something...and it just may be worth $150 at the tire shop if I don't have any other good reasons to go to the dealer soon.

I had one go out a couple of months ago. I didn't have time to get to the dealership so drove it that way for a couple of weeks when all of a sudden it magically started working again. Not that it is a solution, but I wonder if they aren't all truly going bad but somehow losing their pairing.

losing their pairing.
Also known as not working. It's not like you walked off with your wheel and it has to reconnect. It's 5 feet from the dang receiver so staying paired is an essential function, if it can't do that then it is bad.
