Woke up the other day with a completely flat front passenger tire on my 2023 3500 big horn Drw. Pumped it up and it seemed to hold air. Lost 3-4 psi per day since. Took it to shop where they told me I must have rode on the under inflated tire for a while as he showed me a handful of rubber dust in the tire. If that's true , why didn't my tpms warn me? I checked my sticker and it does say I have Tpms not the Tpis that dosent warn you.

All 3500 are TPIS.

If the build sheet/Monroney says TPMS, they're referencing the sensors, not the truck setting.

Some have even reported the DRW didn't come with sensors installed in the rear wheels, or the TPIS wasn't enabled.

If you want TPMS, you'll need to change it using JSCAN or AlfaOBD. Maybe the dealer can change them, unsure on that part.

I kinda figured that. Went back and looked at sticker again in it says "Trailer" Tpms. Not for the truck. So I could be pulling my 20k fifth wheel 60mph down the interstate and I'll be warned if a trailer tire is getting low but if my front tire on my truck is about to be flat I won't know . Unreal for a 100k truck.

LOL.

If you put the EVIC display on the tire pressure screen, it will show the pressures.

It's common knowledge the 3500 doesn't have TPMS enabled, only TPIS. These aren't passenger cars, they're heavy duty trucks. I don't know what everyone else does, but I do a walk around my truck any time I'm going to drive it. I can also tell by driving it if a tire's pressure is too low.

I'd say it's fortunate that there is a way to change that setting to TPMS if you desire, albeit dealer or aftermarket software, it's still possible.
