So my rear tire valve stem randomly split open and leaked all the air out...while parked. I put the spare tire on the front and the front tire on the rear so the rear would be the same size. Obviously its not ideal, but I need to tow my camper back home with the spare tire on the front about 120miles. The issue is the spare and the factory tires are about 1in different in size, granted my normal tires are WORN and the spare looks brand new so it might be less than 1in. Im thinking Ill be fine and wont damage anything since Ill be in 2wd and the spare is on the front. But I cant help but worry. Anyone ever do this and have or not have issues? First time for me as I have always had a full matching spare...

Will be getting new wheels and tires and doing a 100% spare match so this isnt an issue, saldy sooner than I can comfortably afford to. But such is life. But until then I need to limp home and hope I dont damage my new truck. Thanks

Are you referring to 285/60R20 vs 275/70R18? If so the difference is negligible (~9 rev/mile) and the spare can be ran in any position. All HD Rams come with the 18" spare even when 20's are optioned.
