Hey Guys, I have a 2022 2500 larime longhorn diesel. I am wanting to install at power trailer tongue jack on my boat trailer. I am wondering if the 7 pin plug for the light hook up will provide enough amps to work the jack? the jack is a fulton side mount power jack. I do not want to install a extra battery just for the jack on the trailer. The truck has 2 batteries under the hood already. I know this is a bit confusing but any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks RC

Looks like up to 15amps so you'll have to find a jack that can operate at less than that.

The power circuit in the 7 pin connector is protected by a 30 amp fuse. However I suspect there is a significant voltage drop through the wire when trying to pull a large current. So 15 amps may be a more realistic number.
