Hi Everyone-

I have a 2024 Ram 2500 CC Tradesman with 6.4 Hemi and 4.10 gears.

I am looking at buying a TT that’s 7800 pounds unloaded, probably 9000 or so loaded. From what I’ve read many people comfortably tow this weight, and more with my truck. I just wanted to check and make sure I can safely tow this. I also plan on getting a WDH.

Thanks!

I tow a 30' Airstream that is just under 9000 pounds. I have towed through the smokies and the mountains out west. And I have never lacked for power. I use a Blue OX WDH with 1000 pound bars. Great combo. You will be more than fine.

You'll have no problems at all. I pull a similar sized camper with my '19 2500 6.4 and 4.10s and it pulls it great. My only wish is that the fuel tank was bigger LOL.

You should be good with 9000. I pull a toy hauler its about 11,500 any more than that and would want a Diesel. My truck is a 6.4 with 4.10 gears. Gas or Diesel I would love a 50 gallon fuel tank. Can't fit a long bed in my garage.

I ordered my 6.4 with the 50 gallon tank. Worth every dollar of the $295 option price. (8' bed) I tow 12K travel trailer with another 1k in the bed. Tows great through all terrain. The diesel will climb the mountain at 5 mph faster than I and get 2 mpg better but I saved the 12k by going with the 6.4

You could do it with a 1/2 ton easily the 3/4 ton wont even break a sweat
