Tow Mode Camera

I purchased and installed this camera on my trailer: Genuine Trailer Camera Kit for Ram Mopar part # 68527599AA.
Now, I got my truck and when I connect the camera to my truck it shows these two signs.




I guess the problem is one of these three:
1. something wrong with the truck. It was restored after flooding and drvm module was replaced. DRVM works fine.
2. Cables. I used original cable and added 25 ft cable I bought from eBay. I disconnected the camera from the second cable and connected directly to the original 40ft cable and received the same results.
3. Camera. maybe the camera is faulty or not compatible with my 2023 Ram 2500.

I also noticed that DRVM module had only two cables connected to it and two slots are empty.


I wish I knew someone else in Anchorage who has the same truck with tow mode camera option to check out my setup.

Any comments and suggestions are appreciated.

That camera kit is not compatible with the 2023 DRVM camera processor.

Oh man, I was afraid it wasn’t. Can you tell which one is compatible?
I hope I don’t need to change the cable, but just the camera.

68586112AA Is the kit you need. It’s a whole kit swap because there’s a repeater in-line on the 2023 kit.
