Tow mode camera

Can’t remember but can other cameras be used instead of the factory sold tow mode camera for the DRVM? I have them installed on two of my trailers, they seem a little zoomed in more than I’d like, was wondering if a different camera with a larger field of view could be used since it doesn’t seem you can adjust the zoom from the DVRM.

No. Only the digital camera specifically built for the digital mirror will work. It looks kind of zoomed because you are only seeing a “section” of the whole view that the camera sees, and that is how it’s able to digitally pan left, right, up, and down.
