I'm looking at airbag kits from my '24 3500 SRW, came across the Torque brand kit. Has anyone used this kit who can offer some advice or experience? I know airbags don't increase payload, I just want to avoid sag as much as possible.

No experience with Torque brand bags. I have TimberGrove bags on my 2500 and they work well. Manual fill. Tune as needed.

I agree with @H3LZSN1P3R, load the truck up first. The springs on the standard 3500 are pretty stout for the application and generally don’t need much assistance to stay within RAWR.

If you do end up getting gas I’d look at Timber Grove or Firestone.

I've had my 28' fully loaded bumper-pull toy hauler hooked up and a ton a camping gear in the bed of the truck. (not really a "ton", but you know...) My toy hauler is very tongue-heavy at about 1400 lbs, and the truck settled down a bit in the rear but I don't think I'd call it 'sag". More like leveled. Our intention is to upgrade soon to a 30 to 35' 5th wheel, which is a big reason we bought this truck. If the bumper pull and some gear in the bed is enough to squat it a bit, I'm trying to be proactive with the air bags. I had a set of Firestone bags on my 06 2500 and used em all the time. I realize a bumper-pull will put more mechanical force on the rear simply because of the way-behind-the-axle connection point for the load, but even still a 5th wheel will have twice the load weight. Just trying to be careful. I guess I can get the 5th wheel first and see how it goes, and buy the bags if necessary. Was just curious if anyone has used this Torque brand and what they think of it. I'm not broke but I'm not made of money either, and this brand is a bit less expensive than the Firestone kit.

The 5th wheel is completely different even at “twice the weight” 2800lbs pin weight the truck will sit well, as long as the truck is sitting level you are best if it starts dropping past level then there runs in to the possibility of hitting the bump stops where issues arise but level makes the bed to trailer clearance better than being tailend high. With 3k in the bed of my 2500 with mo bags it sat level and perfect. I think your putting the cart in-front of the horse with this one

i hooked my 3500 to the 39ft toyhauler the other day to move it and was lazy and just used my normal hitch rather then the WD setup and to my suprise it only dropped the rear an inch or 2. or some say leveled it. my 2500 i wouldnt have been able to lift the jack off the ground high enough. I was thinking about getting bags but now if i do anything i might just get the thoren (Think thats the name) bump stops for the rear.

I have Torque brand on my 2012 half ton Silverado. I put them on maybe 10 years ago, once I got all the air leaks stopped never had a problem, probably way overloaded the truck 2 different times with gravel, no problems.

How much tongue weight? My 19 2500 sits level with 1700lbs on the hitch no WDH so I doubt your 2500 would have been that low unless your way past the hitch capacity

hit capacity, prob not. ive never weighed the tongue weight but its ungodly heavy. 10k empty, most of the weight is up front as its got a 15ft garage in back for sxs's and what not. but i can tell you the 21 was on the axles. with air it was fine
