I have the facoty tri-fold tonneau. Works OK, frame is very heavy duty, but I want a toolbox with relatively easy access.
I've done some searching and have come up a bit empty:

I've done some searching and have come up a bit empty:
- I'd like a black low profile toolbox that does NOT extend to the bottom of the bed. I haul lumber and plywood on occasion and wouldn't want to lose the space all the way to the bed.
- I'd like a relative leak-proof tonneau cover for the rest of the bed. The tonneau cover cannot have rails that narrow the width of the bed rails at all due to the tight clearance of the goosebox.
- Lastly, I'm in the Northeast snow country; ability to support a snow load is important.
What I've found so far:
- Tri/Quad fold covers work great, and generally have no rails. Works without a toolbox, but not with the box.
- Retractile covers require a rail
- Roll-up covers could work, assuming the can seal against the toolbox and support a snow load.
- Youtube channel "Changin Lanes" had a good video and solution, but came back later and has had some clearance issues due to the rails.
