Tone sound like a notification but.....

Not receiving any message on the dash. I also have checked the different systems in the information center and nothing. This has been happening for about a week now. It's about a 20 mile drive to town one way and I hear the tone about three times each way, still never receiving any message ref the tone.

Had appointment with my dealer today that I bought the truck from to change the fuel filters. Told them about it and they checked and there are no codes. This is the second Ram I have bought from this dealer, so I am very pleased with this dealer. Driving home after this and heard the tone twice. Anyone have any idea what could be causing this?
 
Do you have the navigation system? Mine made all kinds of tones. I went into the nav settings and turned most of them off.
 
No nav on my truck. All "Connected Services" were deleted at the factory. Thanks for the reply though.
 
I do have SiriusXM. I don't remember setting any notifications but I will double check. Thanks.
 
When you hear the ding look at the top bar of your screen. It may say favorite artist on air, or favorite song on air.
 
This happens in my 1500. I'm not very techy, okay, I'm not at all technically inclined. I do remember reading about this fenomenom some where in these interwebs.
 
I checked the Uconnect and there were no songs or artists marked favorite. However, when I received a phone call today not only did it show on the Uconnect but also on my Garmin RV GPS. This has been turned off in the GPS for a long time and calls only came thru the truck.

So I went into the notification settings on the GPS and turned off ALL the notifications. I will know in a couple days if this was causing it.
 
So I had no tones on my drive today. It appears when I got my new phone a few weeks ago it connected to the GPS with all the notifications on. Had adjusted them to off a couple days ago and today I am tone free!
