To powder coat or not…

I have these wheels; bought used from a friend for a screaming deal.

Problem is, I’m not a fan of black wheels, just my personal opinion.

My 2020 2500 has the granite crystal paint.

I’m thinking of powder coating them to either match the truck color, or a silver color.

What do you guys think?

I vote for Granite Chrystal.

I’m definitely leaning towards that. I love chrome wheels on trucks and with the amount of chrome Ram has put on these things, it seem fitting to go with chrome wheels. The problem is, in my parts, they use magnesium chloride on the roadways for de-icing and it eats chrome for breakfast.

The deal I got on these wheels was too good to pass up…

Will they still be a great deal after you pay to get them powder coated? If so, go for it. If not, just run em until you find the exact wheel you actually want.

They would look good paint matched or black IMHO assuming they have an appropriate offset etc
