tire not holding air pressure when driving. Had the tire off the truck for 4 weeks and it held the recommend air pressure. I drove the truck for 4 miles and the pressure went from 75 to 21lbs in those four miles. Parked the truck and it is holding the 21lbs. Check the tire for nails, punctures etc but can't find any leaks.

check the valve stem spray soapy water over the entire tire and valve stem. just because you can not see a nail or puncture does not mean you don't have one. Not going to go from 75 to 21 without a leak....

I tried everything you suggested but could not find a air leak. It doesn't leak if it is not driven. It sat mounted on the truck for a full day (24 hours +) and did not leak till I drove it

If it was me, I'd take it to the tire shop. Unless it was the OEM tires, then I'd use that as an excuse to buy new tires.

wiggle the valve stem when spraying soapy water on it.

thank you for the advice. I have tired everything and can't find the leak so I guess it is off to a tire shop. I will let you know how I make out. thank you all......:(

I had a tire a few years ago that would only go flat while driving. Tire shop found an inspection sticker from the tire manufacturer that just happened to get folded into the bead of the tire, when the tire rotated with the weight of the truck, and the sticker was at the lowest point the air would leak out. Soapy water found it but only if the sticker was at the lowest point. So basically with every rotation a little puff of air would escape.

Wheel is probably cracked. Only leaks when pressure it put in a particular spot.

Either a cracked wheel or a small sidewall cut that only leaks when sidewall is deflected.

I took the wheel off and slowly check with a soap and water solution and found a leak on the valve stem just below the threads where the cap screws on. I am taking it to a shop for repairs. Thanks again ..................:):)

Same problem here, but mine ended up being a cracked weld. Had the truck 7 months and this 260$ for new rim
