Looking for tire balancing location suggestions where you’ve had exceptional service/luck in central or northern Illinois.

My truck road smooth as glass for the first 45,000 miles of its life. Needed new tires, and boom, truck now rides like crap. (After 2 other brands, now I’m back on brand new oem transforms ats, I know people hate them, but I don’t mind them, and it rules out a variable of different brand tires and how they can expect to ride) (I’m very familiar with road force, acceptable road force values, and am tired of arguing with discount tire)

I’ve already been to the discount tire location in Normal and Springfield, IL. Same tires, 2 different values for road force at both locations and both claim “wheels out of balance, fixed it”

Road force values (that the locations claim, same tires and location on truck)

Location 1:
LF: 36
RF: 15
LR: 26
RR: 42

Location 2:
LF: 43 fixed to 25
RF: 29
LR: 36
RR: 43 fixed to 24

I have read plenty of places they ideally should all be less then 20, but discount tire says they’re good as is, and “green” on the machine, for that tire. Really wishing I would have asked them to record for baseline the tires they were taking off, as I’d expect them to match them or do better.

I’m convinced no one knows what they’re doing at these locations. Or is unwilling to really take the time to do it right.

I’ll end up talking myself into buying my own hunter balancing machine by the end of this.

Any location suggestions within a couple hours of central Illinois would be much appreciated!

I have had good luck with Firestone Complete Auto Care. There are clip washers on two of the studs on each wheel, depending on the rim these have been reported to cause issues with the wheel mounting correctly causing vibration. Interestingly enough the best balance I have had was without Road Force balance..
