It's been a couple months and I just can't handle the 5". I thought I wanted to jump all the way to a 12.1" but after reading for hours and scrolling hundreds of pages of posts I can't seem to find the data I'm looking for or if it's even possible without spending a crap ton of money. It appears there's more data on upgrading to the 8.4" but again after reading & scrolling for hours I seem to get more confused on what is required, finding proper p/n's etc....
Is anyone willing to help me out and straighten me out on what is required? Links to other posts are fine as long as they're not 100+ pages of reading. So much gets lost in those posts and side conversations it's just hard to follow.
I have a 2022 Tradesman, 6.7l with single climate controls and no nav (3C6UR5CL3NG158935). From my research it looks like I will need a bezel, an 8.4" monitor and possible a harness. I can purchase AlfaOBD if necessary. The bezel will need the hazard light button and traction control button along with single climate controls. Do I need a module for the 8.4"? What version of 8.4" will work? Any 2019 or newer? I want Android Auto as well.
The dealers here aren't willing to give me part numbers of any items for fear of me finding them elsewhere. So they are no help. If I need to provide any more info just let me know.
