Tim Kuniskis and Yellowstone introduces the 2025 Ram HD Lineup Video

On the configurator looks like you can get the V8 in Limited (which you couldn't before) but only for Crew Cab. Not for the MegaCab. I assume it has to do with the extra weight of the megacab.

I have the Hemi in my 2020 Limited MegaCab. I use it to tow a 9000 pound travel trailer. And I have never lacked for power in any situation. And my payload is almost 1000 pounds greater than the same truck with the Cummins.

Give the Million Dollar Highway a try, you'll be begging for more power :D When I grabbed 15K lbs in Phoenix I could not believe how well it towed. But hit the mountains.....

Anthony @ Mark Dodge has been saying it can't be done in the dealer configurator.

I have towed in the mountains out west and the Smokies out east. No problems. My configuration with the 4.10 gears provides me with a tow capability just north of 16k. Would I ever tow that heavy with it, no. I would say that for anything 12k or below, a gasser is a good option. Above that and you are getting into diesel territory. All about the right tool for the job. And in my situation the 6.4 Hemi is the right choice.

I realize the Million Dollar Highway is a special use scenario for sure. Probably not much that beats it for grades. The big hills outside of Phoenix see big rigs going 20-30 and I was able to hang in at 50mph. But its full throttle at 30 on Coal Bank and Molas. But, given the downsides of a Diesel, I need to make the Gas work. I do not have to haul over the big passes that often, but a little more power would help when I do.
