its not a million degrees today, so I had the windows down. I noticed a clicking/ticking coming from the front left wheel well while going in a straight line. I thought maybe I had some brake drag, but applying the brakes does not resolve it. Putting it in N and revving does not change it.

Any ideas?

Put it in 4wd and see if sound changes under throttle, how many miles on the truck? Could be a wheel bearing or Ujoint on its way out

Brake dust shield bent in?

Rock stuck in tread.

If it is a dually it may be the center cap moving slightly on the lug nuts. Puting some silicone grease on the contact areas made mine quiet for several months. Must be a tiny bit of movement between the two.

2022 2500 mega cab limited.
No rocks in tread….although that happened a few weeks ago.

Will jack it up and have a look tonight.

Last time that happened to me, I had picked up a roofing nail
