Got my LCS Bumps yesterday, the quality is amazing as always. Install is super easy and love how easy they are to swap. Tested them on a short run with my 21ft toyhualer that probably has around a 2000lb tongue weight so heavier than most. Truck sits 1” higher in the rear from a Carli add a Pack. This also causes more sag than the stock overload so I had airbags before this. I went with the 7.25” bumps as I was in between those and the 8.25” with my measurements. With the 7.25” I have .5” before axle contact unloaded with them. Ride seems much smoother than bags, little bit bouncier on bigger bumps when they separate from the axle and hit again.

Overall happy with them just don’t know if I should go with 8.25” and lift the rear .5” to get them in which I have to lift some to install WDH bars anyways. It would lessen the sag I have a little bit. Emailed Thuren about swapping them out so we’ll see. Posted a little video on Thurens FB page driving with them. Also haven’t listed yet but my Timber Grove airbags with airlines are gonna be for sale for $350 plus shipping.

2021 3500 Mega .5” Thuren coils, Thuren Seaybar, Thuren Front V2 Boogie bumps, Carli add a Pack, Thuren Shackles, and Thuren Fox 2.0 shocks

Man I wish we had length options .... It would make me rethink going to bags/cradles soon. I have black sumos now and I'm sorry, but anything that will work on a stock truck will not work with 2" of lift which is what the Carli R2's give empty (minus my static weight). That's what the only option for 2500s is sized for ATM. Our stock 2500 is basically sitting on the black sumos empty (we had to jack it up at the hitch to get them in) while mine only really engage after I'm already nose high from tongue weight/payload or if I'm moderately loaded and hit a good bump. Last time I measured F/R I have ~1.25" of rake with the Carli R2/Thuren 2.75 combo and my static weight - It looks "almost leveled", it's got a very mild rake which is my preference. My goal with bags is to be dead level with any of my heavier loads, based on what I've seen from the LCS so far I think 1 - 1.25" longer than the "standard" 2500 offering would be the ticket. Might have to email them before I order the bags soon, something like the LCS is just so much simplier IMO.

The Thuren bumps are stupid easy to swap in and out. I would measure your bump stop mount to axle spacing unloaded and then see if that measurement lined up with any of the 3500 LCS bumps and just ask Thuren about buying the 2500 system but getting one of the different length 3500 bumps to work with your measurements.

Update: I’ve since swapped out to the 8.25” LCS Bumps and it sits just right loaded up now. I do have to raise the rear a little bit but I have to for the WDH bars anyways. Rides good, I’d say the same or a little smoother than airbags.IMG_0546.jpegIMG_0544.jpeg
