Looks good, Thuren is a great product and their customers service is even better. I did pretty much the same on my 3500 and glad I did.

Looks awesome.....I just wrapped up mine with the Carli lift ...can't go wrong with either....nice rig.

Looks killer.. best color! :P

The Thuren kit has been on the truck for about 9 months now and is still working great! Only issue I have had was with the parking brake cable. Easy fix with a custom bracket. The ride is killer smooth and when loaded down it does sag a little. I am looking into either timbrens or possibly the airbagman helper kit. View attachment 62185
I'd avoid timbrens honestly. The ride is horrid when they're engaged. Instead I'd suggest playing with Sumo's if you want something "static" as you can thread different ones on and off the mount for when you need support or I'd look at bags with daystar cradles. If you don't use cradles with bags, it's quite possible to damage them at full droop with the thuren springs.

Thank you! I have seen the Daystar cradles and do like that option! I have also thought about going to the Carli +1" rear springs as they seem to be a tad stiffer than these soft ride +1 Thurens. Not exactly sure yet. I do love the current ride of the truck however just need that added adjustability to the rear when carrying and or pulling some extra weight around. The 35"s are also working out great as I really cannot tell a difference in power and the mileage has really only went down a mile or 2 per gallon.

That's why I ended up using the Carli R2 springs on mine with the Thuren 2.75" Fronts. Still a much better ride than the stock springs, but I also retain a realistic payload for a 2500 CTD. I do have about 2" of rake, but that's also my preference so I'm not nose high if I tow at night or for an extended distance as rare as it is.

Why not just put the stock rear springs back in? I have the Thuren 2.75 springs up front and kept the stocks in back with a 2" block

It sure rides nice when not loaded with the soft ride +1" Thurens!! Trying to get the best of both worlds here. I know it impossible but still trying

I have to chime in on avoiding timbrens as well. I’ve had them before and was not impressed at all. Would never buy them again.

Thank you! Yes I have heard this about Timbrens. I am leaning toward the sumos or the bags with daystar cradles. Still no rush as we have not gotten a trailer yet. Thx for all the info on this!!!
