Third Brake Light Flasher

Has anyone used a third brake light flasher on their trucks successfully?

I wanted to get the bulb that flashes the third brake light three times when you hit the brake. It's a little 'attention getter' and everyone I've used in the past gives me a 'light out message'. I even tried to add a resistor from an HID headlight I had laying around.

On my new truck, I just replaced the cargo lights with LED which got me thinking of the third brake light flasher.

Thats a little silly in my mind but usung alfaOBD you can change the BCM setting to LED for the CHMSL and it should not give a lamp out message

I do have AlfaODB, I may have to try that.
