Some of you may have seen my story, this is the final chapter!
-Ordered a 2022 Big Horn w/ CTD/HO Aisin, Max Tow, etc. on October 13th, 2021
-Got the window sticker on January 02, 2022 and on it went to the train
-On January 23rd it arrived in Mechanicville NY to be delivered by truck to Connecticut
-After some time and numerous inquiries I discovered (with the help of @brv10) that the truck had some kind of issue. The dealer was unaware of the issue
-Was told in the beginning of February it had been damaged during delivery, some kind of rear fender damage. This info came straight from Ram
-Then around Feb 20th was told that there was no damage the batteries were stolen out of it and it was still on the rail car with no eta to the dealer
-By chance while searching the web I found a very similar truck about 100 miles from home. It's a bit of an upgrade as it's a Laramie (same options plus a few) but the price was only slightly more
-On February 28th I drove the new Laramie home
-Fast forward to yesterday, the cancelled truck was delivered to the dealer, well sort of, it was delivered to their body shop just down the road! As you can see there is damage to the truck, I have no idea if the batteries have been replaced. I wonder if they had to pull it off the rail car and damaged the bumper. So almost 3 months sitting on a rail car, Ram simply did not care!
-As my wife always says, everything happens for a reason. I ended up with a gorgeous truck and could not be happier!
