Terrible Brake Pedal Location On New 2026 Ram 2500

I took delivery early this week on my new 2026 Ram Rebel 2500 Diesel. On my first drive, I noticed the brake pedal was located way to close to the driver. I have pedal adjustment, so I tried to move it forward. Turns out it was fully forward. When I moved it to the fully back position it was abnormally high to the point you were hitting the hood open cable with your foot when applying the brake.

Using a straight edge I measured the distance from the brake pedal to the gas pedal. Or how much further back the brake pedal is compared to the gas pedal. It measured 2-1/2". My other vehicles measure quite a bit less than this.

I attached a pic of it in furthest rear position.

Has anybody else notice that the pedal is too far back?

Other than this, the truck is amazing.

I traded in my 2022 3500 Bighorn that had 64k miles this week and picked up a 2026 Limited Mega Cab, drove it home 225 miles and didn't notice anything different in pedal position in either trucks. BTW I looked at the new Limited tonight while I was under the dash doing some Aux switch wiring connections and I looked at my pedals and they look just like yours for position just a fyi.
