Tariffs?

Anybody know how tariffs actually work? All the HD's are built in Mexico, correct? So the tariffs imposed next week should impact these trucks - are the tariffs paid by the manufacturer at build or delivery, or sale to customer?

I guess I'm wondering if the tariffs would have any impact on vehicles already in dealer inventory, or if they just make future vehicles more expensive?

The dealer I’m dealing with told me today there would be no immediate impact on the buyer.

Usually, it will depend if it is invoiced.
Custom build = invoiced
truck scheduled for dealer lot = invoiced
farther on = dunno

I am expecting delivery between 6/14 and 6/22 and my dealer e-mailed me and said they tariff’s will have no affect on me... fingers crossed.
