I want to switch the tailgate ram head emblem from chrome to black. I found a Mopar one for a 2019 1500. It says its the large emblem. Are they the same size as the emblem on the 2500s?
 
Might be, can't guarantee it. But there is a black version for the 2500s, they are included in the Black Appearance Package for the Laramie and Big Horn. Gotta be a way to find it.
 
It’s weird to me. Most of my searches for many different aftermarket parts and accessories come up with 2019 1500s but not specific to 2500s. It seems late in the year for website and availability to not be there yet.

How did you search it. I like that one though, they call it the satin color, right. If you remember post a picture when it’s installed. What color is your truck? I have a black tradesman with chrome bumpers. I’m trying to decide if I want to leave any chrome on the sides.
 
My truck is pewter. It’s the color in my avatar. It looks very good on the truck, I’ll get a pic tomorrow I’m away tonight. The old one was a bitch to get off! Here’s the one I bought:

flan, how was the comparison once you got the old one off? Same size thickness etc.
 
Size is perfect, I definitely do not believe it’s oem, but don’t think it will fall apart for the next few years also. I put some additional 3m double stick tape around the edge like the oem does, mostly to keep crap from getting behind there and sitting.
 
My black badge came in the mail today. Hope to have it on by the end of the week. Also bought black “RAM” letters for the grille to replace the chrome. I’m not trying to black out the tradesman as the bumpers are both chrome, but tone it down a little.
 
I ordered a black ram tailgate logo for my tradesman. Instead of a rams head its a skull with horns. I’ll see how it looks when it arrives.

Sure, I’ll try to take some today sometime. I really like how it turned out.

I do not. I purchased them on eBay and just search black ram grille letters. They came from a dealership and not aftermarket.
