I have been a loyal gm owner for years. I went outside the box and bought the ram 2500 with the cummins . Had truck for 2 weeks and already been back to dealer for seal leak on transfer case. Didn't have parts to fix it said thy are on back order. This truck price was ridiculous as all new junk bow days . Was told if Didn't have to drive truck don't .I still got my gmc did not trade had sense new in 12 never had issues so now questioning the new truck. At this point it's just a huge bill to set in my driveway.

Bad run of tc output shaft seals. You’re about the 20th post on this topic. And this forum is a small sampling of owners. Huge strain on on hand stock of seals. Either be patient or get a non oem and fix yourself. Cheap and easy job.

Welcome to the forums!

Easy yes but didn't buy new truck to have to work on it two weeks into ownership. Who pays my parts an labor just as any mechanic my time is money.

Hey I agree 100% just saying it’s an option if you don’t want to wait out that backorder.

Got you beat, just had the output seal replaced for the second time; today actually. Also, the transfer case was removed to reseal the case itself (3 dealer trips total- 4 if you count the second seal diagnosis). Hoping the transfer case is all fixed up now. Just get it replaced under warranty and hopefully you’re all set. I understand your frustration.
