Switch Manuel to electric folding mirrors

Ordered new 2500 Big Horn with Manual folding tow mirrors. Worried about tow mirrors and getting in garage. Now I second guessing not going with the electric folding mirrors. Is it possible to add electric folding mirrors to a truck that doesn’t come with them?

I believe replacements can be installed relatively easily, though expensive... look forward to what others will say.

I have an 8' garage and definitely can't fit even though I've read the truck's ~104'' wide. To pull in, I open the window and pull the mirror back, which works good enough. Kind of annoying though, so if replacements are cheap enough, maybe I'd consider.

I'm sure it's doable, besides the mirrors you'll need the door modules, and replace the window controller on the arm rest to include the mirror fold button. If you try searching tow mirrors, I believe it has been discussed, if not Jimmy07 on here will know. You'll also need AlfaOBD etc to activate the settings in the trucks BCM(?).

Yes. Jimmy07 is the master. Be careful about what mirror features you want because it affects the door modules and drivers master switch that you will need.

I was in the same ordering position and opted to do the swap. Couldn't be happier.... Actually folded the mirrors in this weekend to clear a tree while camping.
