Swap in Limited Night Ed headlights?

Anyone swapped out Laramie headlights for Limited Night Edition headlights? I found a VIN for a Limited NE, used that to source the parts, which comes to around $800 per headlight. In contrast, a Laramie NE headlight is around $450. I’m thinking a different harness may also be needed since there are some additional features on the Limited headlights.

Bottom line I have an Olive Green 2022 3500 that I could NOT get as night edition (not offered) and am deleting chrome as I go. I could 1) bake my current headlights to pull to housing apart and paint the interior, 2) replace with Laramie NE, or 3) upgrade to Limited NE.

Thoughts from the expert tinkerers?

A few threads on this already very possible to do look up halogen to projector led it will be the same thing for you as the halogen and reflector leds have the same plug and need the same additions just may need different alfa obd settings

Thank you I’ve been looking at these threads. Kinda hoping / wondering if I can get away with it for less than $1600 just to get the blacked out effect…

Search for the thread named "Night Edition Headlights". (sorry don't know how to link to it) @Jimmy07 explains what is involved. The limited headlights are directional so it isn't a direct swap.
