Swap column shifter to dial in ‘25/‘26 trucks?

I’m probably in the minority here, but I’m wondering if anybody knows if there is a way to swap the newer electronic column shifter to the rotary dial shifter. I got really used to the rotary dial in my ‘21 1500. The new electronic column shifter just feels like such a waste of space. I used a Proclip phone holder on my 1500 that I really like and I wanted to use it in my new truck, but the column shifter on my 2026 Power Wagon blocks that location.

When I first got my 1500, I could never have predicted I would be asking this question. I used to be a big fan of column shifters in trucks.

I don’t know the answer, but I just want to note that I switched from ProClip to BulletPoint, and now my vent isn’t blocked by my phone. The ProClip was good, and relatively inexpensive, but the Bulletpoint is superior

Also their MagSafe magnet
Phone holder is amazing

I appreciate the thoughts! I actually used both in my 1500. The Proclip held my phone, and the BulletPoint was used to hold an iPad mini, my GMRS or Ham radio mic, and my wife’s phone. Lots going on up there!

I’d like to use the MagSafe holders, but I use the magnetic credit card wallet attached to my phone, which doesn’t work with those holders.

I will use the BulletPoint alone for now. I do still prefer the dial shifter though! I find myself reaching for it all the time from muscle memory.

Ah yeah I have to take my wallet off to use the MagSafe holder, not quite enough magnetism on the cardholder. I liked the ProClip, but I definitely felt it was blocking a lot of airflow from that vent; and the MagSafe is quicker/easier to throw my phone onto I find.

I switch between my Ram (dial), Jeep (console shifter), work trucks (column shifter)…I find myself reaching for whichever I drove last.
