Suspension while towing

Hello. I am new to the forum and new to Ram. I previously had a Silverado 2500 and now I have a new Ram 2500 with the Cummins. I feel like the rear coil springs are weak and bouncy while towing. I put the Timberans on the rear and that only made the ride worse. I pull multiple trailers including a 34’ bumper pull camper. Never had this issue with my Silverado when pulling. My question is has anyone upgraded the rear coil springs or will airbags be the better answer?

A Silverado 2500 has leaf springs, as do virtually every other 3/4T. The nature of the inboard coils on the Ram 2500 can translate to instability for some.

Replacing them doesn't really solve that issue and will only serve to worsen the unladen ride quality.

Adding outboard air bags is the fix. If you off road, you can use Daystar cradles to decouple the bags from the axle during droop.

FWIW, a Cummins 2500 has a pitiful payload rating so if you're over the axle rating, that's a different conversation.
