My camera is coming on and going off intermittently. I have disassembled the tailgate handle assembly and do not immediately see anything wrong or broken in either the Fakra connection (cable end) or the camera connection, but it will not keep the image.
It will work if I continue to fiddle with it, like you would wiggle a broken cable, sometimes...most of the time no change, etc....but not getting any results that lead me to believe a bad cable. It may work when I plug it in, it may not. If I close the tailgate, it may go out, it may not.
Would you replace or bypass (somehow) the cable with another one from Amazon before blaming the camera and its internal connection?
