Sunroof Shade Blocking Full Closure of Sunroof

2019 RAM 3500HD Limited. Yesterday, I opened the sunroof and noticed that the sun shade only opened partially. I hit the close button and the sunshade closed completely, but the sunroof partially closed with about a 4" opening. Clearly, the shade is blocking the sunroof from full closure. I'm assuming, for whatever reason, the shade link to the sunroof was somehow disconnected. If you've experienced this issue, please share your solution(s). Thanks in advance.

Issue solved. Took the truck to a local auto body shop and they fixed it. Somehow the back of the sun shade was bent in such a way as to interfere with the proper operation of the sunroof.

Figured it had to be something like that, but no idea how it’s all connected. I pulled up a diagram of the sunroof…but didn’t see any linkages. So I gave up lol.
