Storage with battery disconnect: consequences?

When storing these trucks, say a 2023, with the battery disconnected, what settings does it lose?

The owner's manual suggests disconnecting the battery, so I am perhaps naively hoping it retains user settings in all the places where they are stored so that one doesn't have to reenter everything from seat settings to beep disabling to radio presets. I also assume the OBD settings will be nuked.

I know that I can use a power source through the OBD to maintain the settings, but I want to be prepared for worst case.

TIA.

The truck will likely forget what options it came with, 360° camera, heated/vented seats, folding mirrors, etc. Each truck is different but they come back after a few power cycles.

Otherwise no issues.

Best bet is a smart trickle charger, like the NOCO Genius series.

If would be nice if Ram let us enable ship with more than 100 miles on the truck.

Yea, just use a battery tender for longer times without use. They work great.

Yeah, I've got a battery saver (12v via OBD socket) for when the battery is unhooked, so hopefully I'll be fine. Where it's parked no access to AC for a trickle charger on a steady basis.

Solar trickle chargers are an option if there’s light. Just don’t buy a cheap china one from harbor freight...

Heh. The irony is that where I have to park is underneath a solar panel installation, where I get no sun. But hey, better for my paint job :)
