I have the stock wheel on my truck which is 18x8. If I go up to a 9 inch width with the same tire size, will this cause an issue? The tires I have are 275/70R18 and prefer not to change size of tire.

The question is, are the 9" wheels the same offset as the 8"? Yes they will fit if same offset and yes they will fit with a different offset. Just wanted to make you aware that tire size and rim width are not the only considerations. Attached photos represent only a change in rim width, from 8" to 9".
