Steering Wheel and Cold Start

Hey, all. Picked up my 2020 CCSB 6.4L last week. Nicely appointed Big Horn in Olive Green Pearlcoat. So far, I absolutely love this truck but I have a couple of concerns. First, a loud “clunk” from the engine compartment during a cold start. No noise on a hot start. Second, my steering wheel was turned slightly to the right while driving straight. Took it to the dealer and they re-aligned the steering. Truck doesn’t drift right or left and feels good. However, now the steering wheel is turned slightly to the left while driving straight. Anyone else here experience anything similar? Thanks for the help!

Mine has been off since the day I bought it. Some days on some roads it is straight. I've just dealt with it.

I’m pretty sure to correct the steering wheel to match driving straight you need to adjust the drag link.

They should be centering the steering wheel when they do the alignment. There’s a steering angle sensor they can (and should) be reading data from to make sure it’s straight. This is very important if your truck has lane keeping.

No lane assist on the truck. I’m gonna drive it a few more miles to see if I’m just being paranoid. Otherwise, it’s going to become very annoying.
