Back when I ordered my 2016 Power Wagon, there was a gentleman, in another forum that i believe has retired, that if you gave him the VON/VIN he would track your truck through the build process to shipping and delivery? I can't find anything recent and was wondering if anyone is still doing this and if not is there a way to track other than chats with customers service and querying the build sheet and window sticker to see if they were complete.

I placed an order for a 2020 3500 Longhorn Laramie 6.7HO a month ago and dealer said was supposed to be shipped on March 4th but according to customer service vehicle is still in pre-production.

In late Oct 2018 FCA put a stop to that unfortunately. Now the only way to get status is to call or online chat with Ram and your dealer can give you the specific build status codes as well.

I posted this in another thread...

Go to https://fcacommunity.force.com/RAM/s/knowledge and click CHAT, for Reason I use Customer Assistance, fill out your information including VIN/VON and ask the chat rep for build info.

You can see your Build Sheet when it hits D1 and your Window Sticker when the truck is built with the links below, just add your VIN to the end of each link after the =

ThankS. Sorry to hear that. It was really a good way to track your build.
