When I was searching for the vertical tire carrier it was sold out everywhere. However I gave these guys a call and they actually had 3 sitting on the shelf. I noticed with lots of the AEV sellers they always drop ship and do not truly have stock on shelf. Might give them a call or shoot them and email. https://8lugtruckgear.com. Also I can confirm the AEV rack is solid and very well made like most of their products. Thanks S2S1.

Thanks ShadowMTN, I'll give them a call today, thank you. Can you think of a reason the carrier wouldn't work with a topper/canopy on the bed of the truck? Also, can the tire carrier be mounted to the side of the bed so the spare tire points North-South?

On the old truck, I had a 285/75/17 under the bed all the time, then a matching 37x12.5 strapped when I was on Roadtrips/off-roading/had the room. Will do similar soon when ever my wheels get off the container and show up.I was thinking about building my own since i have the technology to do so and I like fabricating things
But, addictive desert designs makes a very expensive one. Fabtech makes one that is super simple that would be a good starting place for building your own.
I also thought about just keeping a 35” spare for when I go to 37”s since a 35 is 95% of the height of a 37 and it fits in the factory location.

Thanks! The Devil is in the details, I'll have a closer look.So if you read the AEV site they say the carrier will work with some toppers. You could give them a ring and see if your specific topper has been installed with one. As far as the north/south mounting the bracket is keyed for the front of the Bed. See how it narrows in the middle then gets bigger on the edge? Also it is not made for the Rambox but with some measuring you can make it fit. Additionally with a non Rambox truck you'd have to deal with the exposed wheel well and you'd see the rear of the bracket if you could make it work in a north/south install. But it would be a pain in..... to do so.
