SOLD 6/25/24
I designed and fabricated this bed cover for my truck (2021 Ram 2500) because I couldn't find anything like it for sale commercially. It is for the 6.4ft standard bed. It is plate aluminum over a welded steel skeleton and it can carry several hundreds of pounds on it - probably several thousands actually (the truck bed walls would crush long before this thing fails). It raises straight up so you can access stuff at the front of the bed, not just the back. It weighs a couple hundred pounds but super heavy duty gas shocks make it lift up easily. I sprayed it in color-code-matched Raptor Liner. I took it off because the truck got wrecked and I sold it.
I have hundreds of dollars and weeks of work into it. I have no use for it anymore but can't bring myself to scrap it. it's not something you're just going to pop into place and be done with it like an off-the-shelf product and that's why I'm only asking $200. It will take some work on your part to get it mounted and working - look at the unistrut bolted inside the bed, you will have to replicate that or something like it.
If this hasn't been marked sold after a week or so feel free to hit me up with a lowball offer or just ask for it, I might give it away. I really just need it out of the way but I'll get some money for it if I can.
NOTE some of the attached pictures were taken while I was building it so and they show the frame before blasting/painting and the aluminum before liner was sprayed.
