Slide Storage Drawer issue for bench seat configurations

I have a 2500 bighorn with the bench seats. There is a slide out storage drawer below the stereo and switch panel, just above the hump in the floor in the center of the cab. The drawer has a long, but narrow push button that is supposed to open the drawer but it seems to stick and is difficult to get to open. Seems like either the button is not releasing or the spring load to push the drawer out is not string enough. Anyone having the issue? The glove box has similar button to open, but doesn't seem to stick like the lower storage bin. It usually takes multiple attempts to get the drawer open.

I’ve experienced this a couple times as well. Nothing a good slam couldn’t correct. Seems to be less likely to happen if you close the drawer with some force rather than gently sliding it closed. Not a great answer, but tolerable.

I went back out to check this and it seems to be working, maybe just wasn't hitting the button hard enough, dead on. Seems like in the dark hard to see narrow button.

I haven't been in a upper class truck this gen but I wondered why my tradesman had a useless looking panel there and thought what a waste. I'll have to see if I can swap in the drawer you guys mentioned
