Side steps distance comparison

How much lower do the powered side steps go when deployed compared to the factory fixed chrome ones? Are amp brand lower than the factory power ones or same? Looking For a 2500 4x4 bighorn or Laramie application thank you

I had factory chrome steps on my 14 3500 4x4 . I have factory power steps on my 20 about 4 to 6 inches lower . I love them . There is a member ( Crusty old Shellback) that has a step by step instruction with photos on installing the AMP steps. Onthis site
