6900 miles, 4 months old. Had this clunk getting worse over last few weeks. Me thinks, it’s a truck and it clunks. Get the spidey-sense last couple days, and behold, my rear sway bar is hanging on the link by... literally... a thread. The 3” of bolt exposed is allowing the bar to bang around causing the clunk.
So a call to a dealership and I get the torque numbers (74 for the lower link nut, 55 for the upper FYI) so I can render my vehicle safe again.
Question is - should I be pissed? I’m not one to get offended for offended’s sake. Was this a critical safety component? Not really... though it IS suspension and I HAVE been towing 10000 lbs over 6 weeks straight with my wife and kids.
Just really disappointed.
